After the Run For Your Lives 5K… I was zombified! Fucking zombie chased me down on the last stretch without me knowing it and grabbed my last flag. The Race was a blast though! And a great start to my 30th birthday weekend too! As for the run, I underestimated how hard it would be. Took me about 45 minutes with the obstacles, and the giant water slide into the mud pit was backed up because someone got hurt. I almost want to run this again in another state to see how and where they will set up the other races, because ours was on a motorcross track, LITERALLY, on the side of the mountain. Lots of hill running in rocks/dirt/mud. It was a blast though! I did get electrocuted… but just a little. ;-) When in doubt, wait for a small group of runners to help distract the zombies.
